#1 Alabama
IDLE, Next game- 9/14 @ Texas A&M

#2 Oregon @ Virginia, 3:30pm ET, ABC
Interesting matchup with the Ducks flying out to the East coast.  West coast teams tend to struggle going this far East, but don’t expect the Ducks struggle much against UVA.
Jeremy’s Quick pick- Oregon, 52-24
Nick’s Quick pick-Oregon, 60-14

#3 Ohio State vs. San Diego State, 3:30pm ET, ABC
Another snoozer for the Buckeyes. San Diego State lost to FCS Eastern Illinois 40-19 last week and looks pretty bad. Ohio State should run over the Aztecs.
Nick’s Quick pick- Ohio State, 42-17
Jeremy’s Quick pick- Ohio State, 41-13

#4 Clemson vs. South Carolina State, 12:30pm ET, ESPN3
Check out the Week 2 Preview and Pick 6 Preview for more on this game.

#5 Stanford vs. San Jose State, 11pm ET, Pac12 Network

#6 South Carolina @ #11 Georgia, 4:30pm ET, ESPN

#7 Texas A&M vs. Sam Houston State, 7pm ET, ESPN3
What else can Johnny Manziel do? He just needs to play football and let the rest of the stuff go because he is a heck of a football player. That being said Sam Huston State is a quality FCS team, but Manziel and Co., should be able to handle this game pretty easily.
Nick’s Quick pick- Texas A&M, 51-24
Jeremy’s Quick pick- Texas A&M, 48-17

#8 Louisville vs. Eastern Kentucky, 12pm ET,
Expect more of the same from Louisville and quarterback Teddy Bridgewater…  You know what, just copy and paste this until their bowl game.
Jeremy’s Quick pick- Louisville, 41-14
Nick’s Quick pick- Louisville, 48-7

#9 LSU vs. UAB, 7pm ET, ESPNU
LSU’s offense really impressed me last week against TCU. Zach Mettenberger really showed he has a great command of Cam Cameron’s offense. LSU’s defense is ultra quick and should fly all over the field against UAB. Expect the Tigers to dominate in all facits of this game.
Nick’s Quick pick-LSU, 34-3
Jeremy’s Quick pick- LSU, 35-9

#10 Florida State
IDLE, Next game- 9/14 vs. Nevada

#12 Florida @ Miami, 12pm ET, ESPN
Check out the Week 2 Preview and Pick 6 Preview for more on this game.

#13 Oklahoma State @ UTSA, 12pm ET, FOXS1
Oklahoma’s State offense did not look great last week, but Mississippi State has a solid defense. The Cowboys should get on track pretty easily and get that offense rolling.
Nick’s Quick pick- Oklahoma State, 48-10
Jeremy’s Quick pick- Oklahoma State, 34-6

#14 Notre Dame @ #17 Michigan, 8pm ET, ESPN
Check out the Week 2 Preview and Pick 6 Preview for more on this game.

#15 Texas @ BYU, 7pm ET, ESPN2
I have gone back and forth on this game. Texas looked pretty good in their week one mop up duty of New Mexico State, but BYU has a tough gritty defense and it is going to make the Horns work for yards. David Ash and the Texas running game will show up in this game and take down BYU in Provo.
Nick’s Quick pick- Texas 31-14
Jeremy’s Quick pick- Texas, 35-17

#16 Oklahoma vs. West Virginia, 7pm ET, FOX
West Virginia really struggled last week against William and Mary.  OU ran for over 300 yards in quarterback Trevor Knight’s debut.   The Sooner defense was solid and should have no trouble handling a struggling West Virginia team.
Jeremy’s Quick pick- Oklahoma, 37-17
Nick’s Quick pick- Oklahoma, 41-28

#18 UCLA
IDLE, Next game- 9/14 @ #22 Nebraska

#19 Northwestern vs. Syracuse, 5pm ET, B1G Network
The Wildcats received a pretty good scare from Cal last week, but they got on a roll the last quarter and a half that game. Syracuse gave Penn State a tough game Saturday so the Cats cannot sleep in this one, but will the job done.
Nick’s Quick pick- Northwestern 31-21
Jeremy’s Quick pick- Northwestern, 41-24

#20 Washington
IDLE, Next game- 9/14 @ Illinois

#21 Wisconsin vs. Tennessee Tech, 12pm ET, B1G Network
Wisconsin ran all over UMass last week in Gary Anderson’s debut and should do the same this week and get him win number two.
Nick’s Quick pick- Wisconsin, 42-3
Jeremy’s Quick pick- Wisconsin, 41-13

#22 Nebraska vs. Southern Miss, 6pm ET, B1G Network
Southern Miss gained over 400 yards on offense last week but was done in by six turnovers.  I’ll be interested to see how the Husker defense rebounds after giving up over 600 yards against Wyoming last week.
Jeremy’s Quick pick- Nebraska, 42-24
Nick’s Quick pick- Nebraska, 48-31

#23 Baylor vs. Buffalo, 3:30pm ET
I am still not totally sold on Baylor yet (see my top 25) but they should have no problem against a Buffalo team that was just beat up pretty good by Ohio State last week. This should be a snoozer with the Bears running up the score.
Nick’s Quick pick- Baylor, 52-21
Jeremy’s Quick pick- Baylor, 48-17

#24 TCU vs. Southeastern Louisiana, 12pm ET
I fully expect TCU to work the kinks out against SE Louisiana.  The Horned Frogs need to figure out what their identity will be on offense and we could get some answers here.
Jeremy’s Quick pick- TCU, 34-10
Nick’s Quick pick- TCU, 28-7

#25 USC vs. Washington State, 10:30pm ET, FOXS1
USC looked pretty average against Hawai’i last Thursday and until they get one quarterback they will be pretty average still. Washington State played a tough game against Auburn and was in the game throughout. This game will be a close one and if it were in Pullman I would pick the upset, but I think talent will win the day here.
Nick’s Quick pick- USC, 38-34
Jeremy’s Quick pick- USC, 34-31
